From key visual to event execution.
Unified branding across gala, digital, and print

I created a visual identity for the annual business competition and its awards gala, from
the logo and key visual to a trophy handcrafted by local artistic blacksmiths based on my
sketches. The project also included the website, printed materials, social media and digital
communication, and oversight of the event’s overall visual execution. The new PRO TIGER
is a fully redesigned version of the previous contest, cutting ties with the past and starting
fresh with a new title, updated rules, and a brand-new key visual. I worked on three editions.

Clear and consistent contest identity: a visual system based on two colors (navy and red) ensured a cohesive PRO TIGER brand across all materials, from the website and social media posts to stage design elements and small details, such as the host’s suit.

Efficient organization and partner collaboration: coordinating the event with the event agency and overseeing printed materials suppliers ensured a smooth gala execution, timely preparation of all elements, and seamless participant experience.

Easy communication and participant registration: the website and digital materials provided participants with quick access to essential information and seamless submission of entries. Communications were clear and straightforward, minimizing orientation time and making the forms effortless to use. Tickets sold out, highlighting strong interest and high demand.

Enhanced networking: the gala and networking party created opportunities for participants and partners to connect meaningfully.

The statuette was created by transforming the logo into 3D, based on my sketches. It was
crafted by renowned artistic blacksmiths named Kowale Losu, my neighbors. Made of metal,
it retains traces of welding and rust with a raw, brutalist form, making it stand out compared to
traditionally polished awards. It catches the eye on shelves alongside other awards, boosting
brand visibility. Fun fact: the lower part of the statuette, corresponding to the tiger’s chin, was
welded at an angle beneath the “nose,” inspired by the anatomical structure of a cat’s chin.

The gala maintained a consistent visual language: visual elements, fonts, and background
animations were unified across all materials. Partner and nominee logos were displayed
on stage, ensuring proper usage. The overall design followed a navy and red color scheme
(red is the main color of the organizing company), including the host’s red suit. The gala
concluded with an evening networking party, complete with music and dancing.

The contest website was designed to clearly present all information about the competition
and make submitting entries through the form as easy as possible. It also displayed the date
and location of the gala and allowed visitors to purchase tickets directly. At the same time,
social media communication supported the website, using the same visual language to
ensure a cohesive and recognizable presence across all channels.

Printed materials included organizational elements such as backdrops, reception signage,
and badges, all thoughtfully designed to be reusable by the organizer in future editions.
Each year, only envelopes with the nominees and winners, as well as participant tickets,
were printed. The tickets were business-card-sized cards with a QR code, elegantly finished
with embossing and hot stamping, serving as a practical and surprising keepsake.
